Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong is a politician and a businessman born on June 16, 1960 to Mr. Francis Kofi Agyapong and Maame Mary Babai at Assin Dompem in the Central Region of Ghana. He attended Assin Dompem L/A Middle School and later, Adisadel College in Cape Coast as well as Winneba Secondary School where he obtained his “O” and “A" level certificates respectively. He later travelled to the USA and studied Economics at Fordham University in New York. In the USA, he opened a number of businesses including Supermarkets, Car Rental Business, among others.
He is the representative of the people of Assin Central Constituency as their Member of Parliament. The outspoken politician owns a number of companies in Media and Communications, Real Estate, Refrigeration and Cold Storage. He is a Philanthropist, supports a lot of Social and Vulnerable Groups and mentors business people. Many students are beneficiaries of his Students School Fees Scheme.
Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong is on record to have won his seat six consecutive times in a heterogeneous constituency as a Member of Parliament and decided to step down for others to continue but was appealed to by the Chiefs and people in the constituency to contest again. This is due to his dint of hard work to help all manner of persons, development advocacy, and benevolent tendencies within the Assin Central constituency and across the country.
